God has his plans, Cupid his arrows

Thinking a guy can pull a rabbit out of his hat… so
I might have a trick or two

That’s why love is such a struggle

would be the real magic trick here

ravishment is not so subtle

Yet love is my hope, not just for show
While love is a magic, true
it’s not powerful enough my dear
Couldn’t love me anyway
Some love for the loveless muggle

It’s a small world after all… everything I need on one street, a girl or “the girl” could be pretty close, and my bed is awfully big enough then again… I’ve never had another person in it. “Mattress Goals”… I want to share but love on the edge…

While I come up with a million excuses
To not say somethin’ stupid, like I love you
