Episode 226 ~Caesar Was Ambitious Will~

Dear Future Wife,
How To Make One Million Dollars, maybe B III should have kids and though I agree with decreasing the surplus population as in spay and neutering “pets” I would never have that done to him and besides like father like son. We both aren’t ones to trust; you remember I would say, if you’re not my dog, my girl, or applying for the position don’t touch me and what anniversary is it again, just kidding but yes my love, you get the job, good night, good luck.

You see Caesar didn’t have anyone to cover him, but I have you, Caesar wanted the world, and you’re mine, and the Caesar salad… I think that is for Caesar Cardini actually, but you know I make a mean grilled chicken salad. One of many things I learned to make though I can’t say I have much range in the kitchen only the fact baby girl that I was willing to wish on every star in the night sky. Hold my breath until I found the right word, that I fell for you, Caesar was never so ambitious; he wanted the world, I wanted you. He landed at the feet of men, and how you love were lost in a graveyard; yeah pretty dark but how many men have wanted to win your heart and the fact is that Here And Now, I’m Still Standing.

Why… because of our little ones that want “Yoda” rides, or must my back remain strong to carry Triple B in his old age, hell I had to get stronger to bring you over the threshold, (I say that before Valentine’s Day, seriously gulp) maybe me and Caesar are more alike. Could it be that I wanted to wear a cape for once and be a superhero, you’re not in distress, you would be a great zombie apocalypse partner, or I can no longer deny that there is a Heaven when I lie down in bed and look In Your Eyes. The fact is I have chased everything under the sun because I wanted more for me, then for you, then for us and am I only now realizing I have it all right now.

You’ve Got It All over him, blood, sweat, and tears I’m sure and what’s that old saying, what doesn’t kill you… I’ve always found it funny that the first moments of love are like that, again falling, heart skips a beat, Take My Breath Away and all that. Caesar didn’t expect to die and still to be with you is Heaven; even if I conquered the world, you are mine, and the rest is yours, yet Caesar Was Ambitious Will.

I Will Have No Fear

Lesson 030 ~And Caesar Was Ambitious~

So Caesar heard nothing of the conspiracy, maybe because he was so busy talking he didn’t hear his own mind, his heart, or guts. And Caesar Was Ambitious but not ambitious enough to live a long life in his case

Lesson 030 ~And Caesar Was Ambitious~

Hey Lady Lu,
Yes, I would like to think that I am as well, you know I talk a lot about being “a simple kind of man”, “just be a man”, the everyday struggles of my life but yeah I have dreams. Not so many since these overnights but you know what I mean, Second Circle Creations, the title change, not dying alone, that sort of thing to be sure.

Anyway other than you I don’t tell many people these things, I will never discount the power of words but “don’t talk about it, be about it” but that’s from the song “Pass The Courvoisier” which leads me to a few lessons. First that maybe it’s better to be a loud mouth for a few reasons, though I wonder was Julius Caesar as such, too wrapped up in my own history nowadays. Secondly what about the stuff, that makes us so, I talk about biology but we both know there are things that while they can’t beat biology can be let’s say a deterrent of regular behavior for a bit.

Okay, let me start making sense or not because I’m about to get into my conspiracy theory and yes I sense a conspiracy to a certain degree. So we talked the other day about people filling the silence some but now they’re trying to fill my silence. In a way, I can understand girls who tell a guy as soon as he starts talking that they have a boyfriend, but they’re usually doing that because… okay before I get into that death trap, I said I love my dog, right below my dog is my love of so much silence.

If a person wishes to make me forgo my love of silence they better damn well be something special and while they are ambitious, they aren’t much else. Now why have these people become so ambitious all of a sudden, why are these people trying to “save” me from the dark paradise I have created.

Is it because I was ambitious, I’ve gone up for a few promotions and have lost them all because I am not ambitious enough and that means being a loud mouth? Now that’s rude of me but my dog is getting to be a loud mouth and what has that bought him but the sweet sound of silence in my library, one man’s heaven, can be one dog’s hell huh?

I think all these people talking to me are the symptom of a big problem, they want me to talk more and while I see the logic in such things, I just don’t want to. I want to tell people what to do but I don’t want to ring people up, doesn’t that say speak volumes to my anxiety. Of course, I want the promotion so I can make more money and eventually walk about the place when I move onto bigger and better ambitions but I can’t do the simple tasks associated with the job I’m trying to keep.

Because it hurts Lu, I mean it truly hurts, all the talking just drives me up the wall and you don’t even hear the real damage that is being done. The way my heart thunders in my chest, how I can barely catch my breath, and listening to people who look at me in some sort of way is like a bunch of knives plunging into my back. How it ended for Caesar I guess scratches him off the would be role models list doesn’t it but they say that he was ambitious.

Braxton is ambitious, and like I said his ambitious has brought him nothing but punishment, biting the hand that feeds you, haven’t I said before if I was a loud mouth, it would be nothing but a tapestry of obscenity. In a way that explains my musical selections these days, if only people could be like my musical choices, you listen to one song, you listen to another, and sometimes you just have to cut it off.

I’ve done that to myself in a way, I haven’t been taking any medication for a while and I’m thinking why did I start up again. I told “Indiana Gone” that if I did get the promotion I was going to have to be peppy, and the pills did that for a time, maybe I got a bad batch or something, so I finished them.

Speaking of medications, I’ve been thinking how best to combat Braxton’s problems as of late, what is making him the way he is, I’ve gone through the gambit of some unknown pain, a need for something, even neutering, though he’s an old dog. Is this what speaking up gets you, I’ve seen it a million times, all the loud mouths just going at it, speaking over each other, fighting for air, not to breathe but to talk. Maybe I’m just too exhausted for that type of nonsense but it doesn’t stop me from going back, over and over, because I am ambitious, I want more.

So what do all these people want from me, dare I think they actually give a damn, I’d laugh but I do enough of that trying to placate them. Everyone has an ulterior motive and that includes me, I was ambitious enough with “Ms. Seasons” so then the question becomes what do they want because I know exactly what I was looking for. Maybe I’m just a rock in the road that has to be dug up, a problem that has to be fixed to stop screwing up the universe.

Now don’t I sound ambitious, making this all about me but that’s yet another reason I talk to you because at the end of the day I don’t want Brutus or even Mark Antony, speaking for me, let them have you or simply silence. For now, what have I learned other than to want anything breeds disaster, don’t I sound like a Buddhist but I want plenty like any other person And Caesar Was Ambitious.

War… Wouldn’t It Be Nice

A longtime fan of the series and long since past the disastrous reboot I must say if this is indeed an ending, then this was an awesome trilogy. “War for the Planet of the Apes”, where else can Caesar go, no spoilers here

Why wasn’t I invited, conquest, not that’s been done, what about this “Battle for the…”, yeah, I saw that one too but war, I saw everything but a war but a war in this movie which is really the only problem, a misleading title, and a somewhat biblical ending maybe.

I appreciated all the throwbacks to the originals and I’m talking all the way back to the beginning “Planet of the Apes” though this movie sort of tells you that it will be the last but then again what do I know. It’s more a tear jerker than anything else so you should be prepared and for a movie with no war, maybe two battles tops it was violent and brutal. Also, some of “The Colonel’s” troops were a bit ironic, let’s just say Koba might disapprove, despite the reasoning for it, if there’s any…

Andy Serkis “Caesar” should be raking in the awards, along with Amiah Miller “The Girl” I don’t want to spoil that, and how about Karin Konoval “Maurice” and of course Steve Zahn for “Bad Ape” and the laughs. Good but really not war. So now that I have appeased Fandango what did I really think about this movie… it was awesome though the politicos among us might be in a twist and I have a tendency to read into things.

Personally, though I saw a tale of brotherhood in a way, in humanity without humans, anybody that watches animal videos on “YouTube” knows what I’m talking about. I saw apes, I saw a respect for the classic series, not without disappointments but you’ll be fully invested from beginning to end.

Andy Serkis is an awesome Caesar, now I’ve already said the cast is pretty much top notch but between Caesar, the little girl, and Maurice, there is just so much emotion being felt. Some people are going to be upset with the American imagery, why is American portrayed as the bad guys, if anything this movie has plenty of bad guys, including Caesar himself but if anything how many of us in the same position wouldn’t follow his set course.

Caesar from being king, to father, to outcast, to hero and everything in-between, and after such transformations what else could the ape have earned… can we just give Andy Serkis an award already? Now the little girl, with no spoken lines in the film was a breakout hit with me especially during the night scene in the camp, can I just say, Niagara Falls, because I wasn’t sobbing on anything like that. Maurice reminds me a lot of “Mandemus” or maybe “Virgil” from “Battle for the Planet of the Apes” the keeper of Caesar’s conscience but Virgil took Dante through Hell and it is the same thing here, I think.

“You are a good man with a good heart, and it’s hard for a good man to be a king.” – Black Panther (Feb 2018)

I don’t want to get all political here and when it comes to me and my country… it’s complicated but anyone that says America is the greatest nation on Earth is a moron. Now I don’t think this movie was saying America was bad but rather people were bad because the only truly decent individual in the whole movie was the little girl and it almost makes sense that she can’t talk. What about Caesar and the comparison to Koba, Caesar saw Koba in himself and that led him down a dark path that resulted in most of the movie even happening, because of it.

This movie is extremely well done considering I have seen people react so strongly to it and for that again the cast was great. Can I just say before I get into trouble that I’m proud to be an American and yeah we can make the country great again but why don’t people see that Trump is the bad guy, just saying The Colonel was better and Mad Caesar too.

“God wouldn’t know what… God wouldn’t know what he knows. If there is a God up there, he would have turned his back on us by now. And whoever made humanity will find no humanity here. No, sir. No, sir. So beware. Beware.” The Road

Bad Ape was about as human as you can get next to the child, maybe another reason people were so mad for a variety of reasons, some of his laughs were sort of cheap, others well deserved, and you have to remember when it came to doing something he did. I would be remiss if I didn’t talk about why I just couldn’t give this movie five stars it comes close though, so amazingly close.

“There are times when it is necessary to abandon our humanity to save humanity.” – The Colonel, War for the Planet of the Apes (2017)

While I am loyal to Caesar myself there were times in the movie that make me question; the fact that you can see both hero and villain in the same light got to me some. As far as some of my favorite moments, when the child is named, or how about when Caesar is walking amongst the other apes, as they say, heavy is the head that wears the crown. All guys will understand the bro code between Caesar, Maurice, Rocket, and Luca, if men really could stand together like that worldwide maybe the humans in this film would have stood a chance but no.

Speaking of brotherhood and Luca, that was one of the things that irked me, Caesar had a gorilla lieutenant in Dawn and yet another one in “Rise”… I don’t want to spoil it. For the last time, there was no war, and some of the troops had no reason to side with The Colonel, and even amongst Caesar’s apes, you can look at one and see, yeah you know there was no mystery to him. The ending though reminded me of lessons in church, one of those War of the Worlds type of endings sadly.

I’ll probably go and see it again, and I’m taking somebody so yes the movie does have my vote and don’t mind the super duper patriots amongst us if it helps just repeat they’re just a bunch of apes. Then again four stars and a few good endorsements who knows, War… Wouldn’t It Be Nice?
